〇Match Report
The Kanto League is finally at its last round.
Fukagawa, which secured its place in the previous round, now faces a slight chance of direct qualification as the Kanto slots for the 28th Prince Takamado Trophy All Japan Youth (U-15) Soccer Championship have been set to eight.
The match kicked off at 11 o'clock at the away Reds Land with the determination to secure all three points.
[First Half]
The opponent Urawa, fighting to avoid relegation, started the match cautiously, and both teams struggled to bring the ball close to the goal.
Even in such a situation, Fukagawa expanded play to the left side with a feed from Takei, who recorded an assist in the previous match, and applied pressure through Kashifu's initiative to create chances, but they did not result in goals.
In defense, the defensive line centered around Takahashi carefully controlled the line and did not give the opponent any chances.
In a closely contested match between the two teams, the first goal was eventually scored from a restart.
At the 36th minute, when Yoshifu took the left corner kick, Kimura connected with a header at the far post, and Fukagawa took the lead.
Although Fukagawa continued to press in the match afterward, they were unable to score an additional goal and ended the first half.
【Second Half】
Urawa, having shifted gears toward staying up, intensifies their offensive pressure.
At the 45th minute, the left side is broken down, and a cross is met near the goal, resulting in an equalizer early in the half.
◈ Then, the match takes a turning point. With Urawa's GK sent off, Fukagawa gains a numerical advantage and presses the opponent, launching an offensive.
However, their specialty side attacks were shut down, and they could not find a rhythm in their offense. Even with player substitutions to change the attack, they were unable to launch effective offensive plays.
In the final stages of the match, Fukagawa, who was pressing forward, struggled against Urawa’s sharp counterattacks.
Entering stoppage time, a penalty was awarded on the last play, and just when everyone had resigned themselves to defeat, Takahashi made a tremendous big save to deny the penalty, and the match ended as it was.
Fukagawa, who had the chance to secure a ticket to the national tournament, was unable to win this match.
This year, we were unable to deliver results in matches that often determined advancement to the top ranks. Did we leave anything behind for all the people who came to support us?
Having gained strength in the Kanto qualifiers and grown significantly, Fukagawa aims to qualify for the national tournament.
Thank you very much for traveling all the way to the away Reds Land today and for your passionate support.
Thank you for your continued warm support.
