○Match Report
The unplayed match of Sec. 11 in the Kanto League was against the top-ranked Yokohama F. Marinos Junior Youth.
Fukagawa, who earned 3 points in the match against Kashima Antlers Junior Youth on the 18th, faced this game aiming to escape the bottom position, with kickoff at 16:00 at Marinos Town.
《First Half》
Fukagawa faces a fierce attack from Marinos from the start of the match.
Fatigue from consecutive matches weighs on their bodies at the beginning.
However, the center-back duo of Takahashi and Kusazumi put their bodies on the line to prevent shots on goal.
Gradually getting their bodies moving, Fukagawa attempts to approach the goal several times through Fukazawa’s skillful ball control but fails to get a shot off.
It was a game where patience was required as they struggled to gain control, but Fukagawa succeeded in scoring the opening goal.
At the 28th minute, coordinated defense up front led to a short counterattack, where Fukazawa carefully set up the play, and Taya elegantly struck the net from inside the penalty area.
Just before the end of the first half, Banguna, who continued to start as a starter from the previous match, dribbled in from the left side, cut inside, and played a through pass to Komatsu, creating a one-on-one situation with the GK, but the GK's save prevented a goal. The first half ended with a 1-0 lead.
《Second Half》
From the start of the second half, Fukagawa aggressively presses the Marinos.
On the right side, Tanio creates a chance with a dribble breakthrough but cannot bring it into the short range.
After the 50th minute, the opponent gradually takes control with quick passing and pushes into the penalty area.
Even in the danger of being broken down from the right side, GK Toriyama made a great save and did not allow a goal.
The long-awaited additional goal born from the defenders' hard work came in the 72nd minute. From a counterattack off the opponent's corner kick, Komatsu carried the ball forward and passed it to substitute Yachida.
Then Yachida played a one-two pass, returning the ball to Komatsu, who tapped it into the goal in one touch.
Fukagawa, maintaining focus until the very end, achieved their first clean sheet victory in the league, finally escaping the bottom position they had held since March and rising two places to 10th.
Aiming for further progress from autumn onward.
