○ Match Digest
The opponent for Sec. 8 was Kashiwa Reysol AA Academy TOR’82. The match kicked off at 5:00 p.m. at the away ground of Kashiwa Nippon Sport Science University High School.
From the start of the match, Musashi showed aggressive play both offensively and defensively. Defensively, they applied intense pressure from the front line, and offensively, they created chances through passing combinations.
At 3 minutes, the ball was passed from MF Kobayashi Mikito to FW Yonetani. Yonetani headed the ball behind the opposing DF, and FW Hara ran in, but it was ruled offside. At 4 minutes, after applying intense pressure from the front line and winning the ball, Hara dribbled past the opposing DF and took a shot, but it was saved by the GK right in front of him. Musashi continued to attack relentlessly; at 5 minutes, this time DF Nakamura quickly intercepted a sideways pass from the opponent. He dribbled past one opposing DF and took a powerful shot, but was blocked by the opposing GK. Although they could not score, the match proceeded with Musashi in control.
At the 12th minute, passing from their own half, MF Reo SUGIYAMA received the ball in the vital area and connected to DF Danto SUGIYAMA who surged up the side, aiming for a goal, but the opposing GK saved it. At the 13th minute, MF Tanikawa aggressively pressed and stole the ball from the opposing CB, then dribbled towards the goal, but was once again stopped by the opposing GK's excellent save. They created chances but continued in a pattern of failing to convert them.
However, in the 19th minute, they carefully connected passes from their own half, with a vertical pass from MF Kobayashi. This ball was played out to the right side through a post play, and Nakamura, who had made a forward run, delivered a cross back. MF Shiozawa, breaking through from behind toward the goal, took a shot! It found the left corner of the goal, shaking the net and securing the long-awaited opening goal.
After this, Musashi continued to take control of the match and kept launching attacks. At the 23rd minute, Hara received a long pass behind the defensive line, held the ball, and Kobayashi Mikio took a mid-range shot. At the 36th minute, Yonetani received a vertical pass from Sugiyama Danto and shot while turning around. At the 37th minute, Yonetani broke through on the left side and crossed to Hara in front of the goal, bringing the play to a finish, but this also did not result in a goal. They created many chances but lacked finishing power, and the first half ended 1-0.
Even in the second half, Musashi's energy did not wane, and they controlled the game with intense pressing and skillful passing. At the start of the second half, in the 44th minute, Yonetani held a long pass up front. Hara received a pass from Yonetani and played a through ball to Kobayashi Miki, who had surged forward from the second line. The shot fired just in front of the advancing opposing goalkeeper was absorbed into the goal, securing the second point.
Even with a two-goal lead, Musashi did not ease up on the attack. In the 54th minute, Reo SUGIYAMA, who stole the ball in midfield, made a through pass to HARA. Receiving this pass, HARA calmly evaded the defenders and carefully observed the opposing GK’s movements before shooting. He scored the third goal.
Then, in the 56th minute, MIKI KOBAYASHI, who received a pass on the left side, crossed the ball to the far side. YONETANI connected with a header, sending the ball over the opposing GK’s head and into the goal.
Yoneda's first league goal made the score 4-0.
After this, the opponent, trailing by 4 goals, launched a fierce attack trying to score at least once, but Musashi countered with committed defense. In the 74th minute, a through pass nearly allowed the opponent to break behind the DF line, but DF Yanagawa covered with sharp anticipation. Then, near the end at the 81st minute, another through pass was played behind the DF line, but GK Wada blocked it with a sharp rush out. Although it was a critical moment, no goals were conceded. Maintaining focus until the end, the match finished with a clean sheet. They celebrated a 4-0 victory.
