○Match Report
The opponent in the 2nd Round of the Prince Takamado Trophy 25th All Japan Youth (U-15) Soccer Championship Kanto Tournament was Tokkano U-15. The intense 2nd Round match kicked off at 11:00 a.m. at Ajinomoto Stadium West Field, just like yesterday, amid strong gusty winds.

Fukagawa, playing with the wind against them, created danger from fouls right from the start, conceding free kicks and corners. Although they managed to withstand repeated threats, the momentum gradually shifted to Toccano. In the first half, Toccano had many opportunities to advance the ball forward, and Fukagawa endured to get through the first half without conceding a goal.

In the second half, at the 50th minute, Ko HASEGAWA was brought on to replace the visibly tired Yamashita. Fukagawa, now with the wind advantage, gradually took control of the game, a complete turnaround from the first half. Then, Takeuchi and Nagura in midfield effectively received the ball and created chances. At the 55th minute, Oda was brought on to replace Nagura, aiming to score a goal. Although Fukagawa controlled the ball and created scoring opportunities, they could not find the net. However, they calmly continued to progress the match. At the 60th minute, Takuma Yamaguchi was brought on to replace Hanya. Yamaguchi, coming on as a substitute, actively positioned himself in front of the goal, not missing shooting chances. At the 70th minute, Uchida broke through with a dribble and delivered a cross. Waiting there was the goal-getter Takuma Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi’s shot was judged to have been blocked by a Tokkano defender’s hand, resulting in a penalty kick awarded to Fukagawa. Yamaguchi confidently converted this penalty!! He remained focused until the end of the match, and Yamaguchi’s goal became the winning goal, securing advancement to the 2nd Round!!

As expected, the past two days were tough matches, but we managed to win and advance to the 3rd Round. Our next opponent is Yokohama F.Marinos Junior Youth Oppama, who dominated and won the Kanto League Division 2 this season. The team has also achieved results, and it is expected to be a challenging match against a strong opponent. We want to prepare thoroughly over the next week and approach the match with full readiness.

Thank you very much for your warm support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa today as well.
We appreciate your continued support.
