○Match Report
The Kanto Youth (U-15) Soccer League Division 1 Sec. 21 match was held at home at the Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multipurpose Ground, facing Kumagaya SC. This intense and crucial match for remaining in Division 1 of the same league kicked off at 4:00 p.m.

From the start, the game progressed at Fukagawa's pace, firmly maintaining possession of the ball. While keeping control, Fukagawa calmly looked for opportunities without rushing their attacks, repeatedly resetting their play. Then, in the 17th minute, after Suzuki's shot rebound, number 10 Nagura pushed the ball in to score the long-awaited opening goal!! Although the overall flow of the game did not change much afterward, Kumagaya also steadily launched counterattacks aiming for the goal. The first half ended with Fukagawa holding onto Nagura's single goal, leading 1-0 at the break.

From the very start of the second half, Kumagaya launched an offensive. However, Fukagawa’s defense communicated with each other and held firm, not allowing the opponent any clear chances. After weathering this critical period, in the 59th minute, Hanya’s forward defense stole the ball from Kumagaya’s resilient defender and made the final pass to Suzuki. Suzuki skillfully dribbled past one opponent and struck with his right foot!! Making it 2-0!! Taking control of the momentum, Fukagawa then scored consecutively on counters in the 63rd and 65th minutes, with Hanya and Takeuchi each finding the net, extending the lead to 4-0 and pulling away from Kumagaya!! In the 70th minute, the hero Hanya was substituted out for Takuma Yamaguchi. Immediately after, in the 71st minute, Yamaguchi scored with a one-touch shot from Uchida’s final pass, shaking the net for 5-0!! In the 73rd minute, Ko Hasegawa, who was showing signs of fatigue, was replaced by Hara to strengthen the defense. Furthermore, in the 76th minute, fresh players Yamashita and Iizuka were brought on for the tired Nagura and Suzuki to maintain the team’s energy. The entire team persevered until the end, showing no openings to Kumagaya, and the match ended 5-0.

In Sec. 21 of the Kanto Youth (U-15) Soccer League since March, we achieved our first clean sheet!! With the support of the juniors cheering us on, the players showed strong determination in this high-pressure match and seized victory.
