2013 Sec. 5 of the 6th Tokyo Youth (U15) Soccer League First Half Tokyo Metropolitan Top League. Under a clear blue sky, the game against Gyosei Junior High School kicked off at 11:00 on the wonderful natural grass field at Komazawa Athletic Stadium.
From the beginning, Musashi connected short passes, trying to control the pace while maintaining possession of the ball. In the 6th and 7th minutes, they created shooting chances, but unfortunately, the shots went wide. Then, in the 9th minute, Otsuka received a long pass from Saijo in the center, held up the ball up front, and timed an overlapping run perfectly to send a lob pass over the opposing DF's head to Kuwahara. Kuwahara skillfully controlled the ball and scored a brilliant shot, successfully taking the lead!! After that, Musashi continued to attack, maintaining possession and creating scoring opportunities. In the 24th minute, from the right side, Nagashima, Ikiji, Ito, and Matsuoka connected short passes, confusing the opposing DF, and finally, Matsuoka calmly scored after a dribble breakthrough, adding a much-awaited second goal!! In the 27th minute, Ito actively ran into spaces that troubled the opposing DF, creating chances. Then, breaking free on the right side, Ito made an accurate final pass to Matsuoka, who had run up in front of the goal. Matsuoka calmly slotted the ball in for the third goal!! Furthermore, in the 31st minute, Sekiguchi dribbled past on the left side and took a shot from a tight angle. Although the opposing GK saved it, Kuwahara followed up perfectly and pushed the ball in, scoring the fourth goal of the first half!! Against Gyosei’s persistent attacks that did not falter despite conceding goals, Musashi’s DF line maintained focused defense and kept a clean sheet, going into halftime with a 4-0 lead.
Entering the second half with a formation that replaced GK Hatano with Hirata and Otsuka with Ozaki. From the start of the second half, Musashi did not ease up on the attack. At the 53rd minute, Ito targeted a direct corner kick that shook the net, aggressively pressing the Gyosei goal!! At the 55th minute, Sugiyama Reo was brought on for Ikiji. Then at the 57th minute, Sugiyama Reo, who had come on just two minutes earlier, made an aggressive breakthrough down the right side, creating rhythm with short passes between Sugiyama, Ito, and Saijo on the flank, and finally, Ito cut inside centrally with a dribble and powerfully struck a shot with his left foot!! Furthermore, at the 61st minute, Ito received the ball centrally, dribbled forward, and hammered a left-footed mid-range shot into the net for the 7th goal!! At the 62nd minute, Takuya Kobayashi was replaced by Sugiyama Danto, and Nagashima was replaced by Shiozawa; at the 69th minute, Saijo was replaced by Kisugiya, and Kuwahara was replaced by Tanikawa, continuing to press for more goals. At the 71st minute, Matsuoka received the ball in the center of the area, dribbled sharply past the opposing defenders, and took a shot. Although the opposing goalkeeper made a great save, Tanikawa was quick to follow up and pushed the rebound in for the 8th goal!! At the 74th minute, Sugiyama Reo again broke through down the right side, carried the ball forward, and scored a skillful shot that shook the net for the 9th goal!! Immediately after, Mori was brought on for Matsuoka, and the substitutes actively participated in both offense and defense. Despite Gyosei’s continuous attacks running toward the goal, the defense held firm until the end, and the entire team was able to secure a valuable victory.
