○Match Report
The opponent for the second match of the Kanto Youth (U-15) Soccer League was Yokohama F.Marinos Junior Youth. In the previous match, FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa suffered a bitter defeat against Omiya Ardija Junior Youth, but this time they were determined to seize victory at all costs. With captain Makoto OKAZAKI absent due to his call-up to the U-15 Japan national team candidate squad, this match became a true test of the team’s strength. The match kicked off at 11:30 a.m. in Marinostown, where strong winds were blowing fiercely.

From the start, affected by strong winds, they were pushed back by Marinos. In the 8th minute, from a cross on the right side, the opposing FW turned and shot, scoring the opening goal. A period of endurance continued, but in the 28th minute, a clearance mistake was taken advantage of, and they were pushed in again, making it 0-2. They went into halftime without a single shot on goal.

The second half took a turn. With the strong wind at their backs, they began to take control. At the 45th minute, Ishizuka was brought on to replace Takuma Yamaguchi, adopting a more offensive approach. At the 60th minute, Daiki Hasegawa was introduced to replace the visibly fatigued Nagura. Then, at the 68th minute, from a corner kick, Oda quickly capitalized on a punching clearance mistake by the opposing goalkeeper to narrow the score to 1-2!! However, four minutes later at the 72nd minute, they were caught off guard by a poor defensive start and fell behind 1-3. Near the end of the match at the 81st minute, after a lapse in concentration, the fourth goal was conceded, bringing the match to a close.

It was a defeat due to being outmatched. The next match will be against Kashima Antlers Junior Youth, who handed us two bitter defeats in last year’s league. We want to correct the issues revealed in this match and prepare thoroughly for the next game.

Thank you very much for your warm support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa today as well.
We kindly ask for your continued support in the future.
