○ Match Digest
FC Tokyo U-15 Musashi kicked off the 2012 5th Tokyo Youth (U15) Soccer League Second Half All-Tokyo Challenge League Sec. 1. The opponent for this round, held at Tokyo’s home ground, was Omiya Socio. The rain turned to fog, and with a slight chill in the air, the match kicked off at 6:00 p.m.

In the early stages, the slippery ground was also a factor, leading to intense clashes. The deadlock was broken at the 8th minute. Nishimoto neatly finished off the rebound from Koyama's shot to score the opening goal!! This goal marked the start of Tokyo's relentless attack. While firmly keeping possession of the ball, they began to dominate the match using effective side switches and crosses. Then, at the 18th minute, Tsukada shook the net with a powerful long-range shot from a chance created by Tajimada's persistent ball control, adding another goal!! And at the 28th minute, Nishimoto carefully laid down a cross from Aihara, and finally Ito pushed it in, making it 3-0 as the first half ended.

At the start of the second half, Omiya Socio continued to apply persistent and intense pressing, but Tokyo's defenders held firm. Then, in the 40th minute, Aihara connected a loose ball from a corner kick to Ryo SATO, who scored a brilliant dribble shot to claim the fourth goal!! Tokyo, without easing their attack, continued pressing forward; in the 49th minute, Abe met Tsukada’s cross with a header, and then in the 55th minute, Tajimada struck a corner kick directly into the goal, extending the lead to 6-0!! At the 60th minute, Soejima replaced Ito, Shimosugi replaced Higashikata, at 65 minutes Abe came on for Tajimada, and at 68 minutes Maruyama was brought on for Abe. The substitute players also fulfilled their roles perfectly, holding off the opponent’s fierce attacks and keeping a clean sheet until the final whistle.

It was a promising start with a 6-0 victory.
