Kobayashi sent this loose ball forward, but the opponent intercepted it. The ball was carried up to the goal area, but Yamaguchi quickly switched back and calmly cleared it.
14 minutes: A careful connection from Fukumori on the right side to Nozawa. Kamoike made a run behind the opposing defender and crossed from the left side, but it just missed the head of the running-in Fukumori.
15 min: Reioka was brought on to replace Nihei, who was injured after contact with an opposing player.
16 min: GK Tani's goal kick was sent far forward. The ball touched an opposing player in front of the goal, resulting in a corner kick from the right. Hashimoto, who had crowded the center of the penalty area, took a shot from Fukumori's corner kick! However, it went over the crossbar.
21 min: After an interception, a quick counterattack leads to a shot from inside the penalty area. The ball hits the crossbar once and rebounds, followed by another shot, but GK Tani securely catches it.
The ball from GK Tani goes to Fukumori. Fukumori dribbles through the center, appearing to send the ball forward, but instead passes to Nozawa, who positioned himself behind Fukumori. Nozawa quickly takes a shot, but it goes wide to the right of the goal.
22min: Amid a well-paced attack, Iwata ran up to the front line and passed to Nozawa, who made a run to the left. Nozawa broke free in a one-on-one and calmly fired a shot that pierced the net—GOAL!!
The long-awaited opening goal!!
24min: A long feed from GK Tani quickly reached the space in front of the opponent’s goal. Reioka ran in to take a shot but missed the connection, so no additional goal.
27 min: Aoki makes a long throw aimed at Reioka in front of the goal. Reioka, who receives the ball, immediately turns after trapping it. 32 min: From Ishihara, who surged up the right side, quick passes connected from Reioka to Yamaguchi, reaching Nozawa running through the center. Nozawa sent a perfect final pass to Reioka making a run in front of the goal, and Reioka unleashed a powerful shot! However, it went just over the top left of the goal.
33': Kamoike initiated the play, and the ball was smoothly connected through the midfield to Hashimoto in front of the goal, who took a shot. Although it was narrowly blocked by the opposing DF, Reioka, who did not miss the rebound, took a shot! However, it narrowly went over the top right of the goal.
34': Ishihara surged forward from the back line and sent the ball into the open space. Nozawa reacted and immediately ran in. While deceiving the opposing defenders, he kept possession and passed to Iwata, who was running in from the left, but the ball was intercepted by two opposing defenders.

43 min: Iwata, positioned on the right side, receives a throw-in from Reioka. Iwata delivers a superb cross into the open space on the far side, but neither Fukumori nor Hashimoto can reach it in time.
Leading by one goal, Tokyo maintains control and finishes the first half.
At halftime, the team confirmed thorough risk management, such as being cautious of the opponent's counterattacks after losing the ball, going after second balls, and creating their own time while launching attacks.
Mitsubishi Yowa made two substitutions at halftime and started playing a different style of soccer from the first half.
The opponent, trailing by one goal, aimed for victory and applied pressure from kickoff, advancing toward the Tokyo goal.
47 minutes: A shot was taken from the opponent's corner kick, but Tani made a spirited save to protect the goal.
49 min: Ishihara neatly connects with a free kick from the left side for a valuable additional goal!
54 min: Applying pressure from the front, Nozawa traps the opponent and cuts the ball while competing with them. He aims for a shot but it narrowly goes to the right of the goal.
With no choice but to score, Yowa raises their defensive line even higher and presses into Tokyo's territory.
However, Tokyo also built their play by sending long balls targeting the space behind the opponent's defenders, making use of Iwata's speed.
63 minutes: Yamaguchi made a run from the second line, received a vertical pass from Kobayashi, and broke through to earn a corner kick. Fukumori, the kicker, delivered a fast, grounded ball into the center. Reioka reacted and took a shot, but it went well over the goal.
66 min: Left side back Kamoike, receiving a throw-in from Tani, skillfully evades the opponent with a clever trap and immediately sends a long feed to Iwata, who had started moving at the front line. The excellent pass perfectly reaches Iwata, who takes control and moves into a shot, but is met with quick pressure from the opponent and the shot is blocked.
Despite being pressed hard during this period, they managed to create a clear chance from limited opportunities and ended with a shot, earning applause from the bench.
68th minute: On a short counterattack, a through pass from Reioka on the right side to Iwata. With a brilliant run, he drew the ball in and took a direct shot, but it was blocked at the last moment, resulting in a corner kick. This corner kick was also cleared.
Fukumori, Nozawa, and Hashimoto quickly switched between offense and defense immediately after losing the ball, delaying the opponent's attack. Yowa grew frustrated as their offensive momentum was repeatedly thwarted.
75 minutes: Nozawa received and held the ball in the center of the pitch. After creating enough time, he passed it out to Fukumori on the left side. Kamoike, who was overlapping, overtook from behind and received the ball. Leaving the opposing defenders behind, he sent a cross to the center, where Reioka ran in and perfectly trapped it with his chest. However, it was judged a handball. Although they narrowly failed to finish, Tokyo showed a well-paced attack that gave a sense of an impending goal.
Although the opponent continued to press, focused defense allowed almost no decisive chances.
On the contrary, it was Tokyo who capitalized on their few chances.
81 minutes: Iwata, who contested a goal kick from Tani, was fouled and awarded a free kick at an excellent position 45 degrees to the left. Kicker Fukumori sent the ball to a perfect spot between the goalkeeper and defenders, and Ishihara, trusting the ball from Fukumori, ran in and headed in the second goal! The entire eleven celebrated the goal that almost decided the match at 3-0.
88 minutes: Fukumori received a throw-in and started dribbling down the left side. After evading an opponent, he crossed the ball with his left foot! The one who ran in was Iwata. He aimed for a direct volley with his right foot but missed, and the ball spilled to the right side. Reioka picked up the ball and carefully sent it back in front of the goal, where Nozawa ran in and headed the ball! It seemed to have gone in, but it just narrowly missed to the left of the post.
There were 3 minutes of stoppage time. Yowa continued to desperately aim for a goal with long balls without giving up, but the defense led by Tani calmly responded, and the final whistle blew.
They brilliantly secured 3 points, a hopeful light toward staying in the Premier League.
As a result, we have succeeded in moving up to 8th place, temporarily out of the relegation zone.
However, the opponent in the final match of the next round is Sapporo, who are right in the middle of the championship race.
Moreover, the point difference with Mitsubishi Yowa and Shoji High School, who are also fighting to remain in the Premier League, is within '2', so the situation remains unpredictable without a doubt.
The crucial match that will unquestionably secure our stay if we win will kick off at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, at our home Fukagawa Ground. The support from the home crowd will be a great source of strength for the players.
We want to demonstrate FC Tokyo’s club strength and secure our place in the Premier League.
Final match. We appreciate the passionate support from many people.
Thank you very much for the warm cheers today as well.
