[15 minutes into the first half] From the start, Yokohama has been using the pitch widely, and even when we regain possession, we have not been able to connect passes well and have yet to create any chances.
19 minutes into the first half: From the GK's ball, FW Maeoka in the opponent's half headed it away, and Akioka, who broke free, sent a low negative grounder from the right front line back to the center. Receiving it, Maeoka boldly aimed for goal but shot off target.

From a close distance to the goal, he sent a final pass to the center, but it grazed the opposing DF and reached the GK. FW Maeoka closed in, but the GK managed to hold it down.
30th minute of the first half: The ball was won at the DF line, and left SB Muramatsu advanced, switching the play to the right. The rhythm after winning the ball also started to emerge, and Eguchi’s goal in the 30th minute leveled the score. The match continues into the second half!
【Halftime Coach Comments】
《Coach Kuramata》
“・Do not change the current rhythm. ・Since it has started raining and the field is slippery, be more conscious of moving forward. ・The defenders must always have one player in reserve. ・Send fast crosses. When sending long balls to the far post, be clear and decisive.”
《Yokohama - Coach Matsuhashi》
“・Respond firmly to the opponent’s counterattacks. ・Consider the distance between each other, and look not only at the feet but one step ahead. ・Our chance will definitely come. Let’s make sure to finish it well there.”
11th minute of the second half: Yokohama's MF Matsumoto dribbled into the area from the left side. DF Hiroki was judged to have fouled him, resulting in a penalty kick. The penalty was successfully converted, and the lead was taken again.
[15 minutes into the second half] The start of the second half was not bad, but we failed to capitalize on chances and, on the contrary, conceded a goal from a penalty after a brief lapse by Yokohama. We want to keep our heads up and push towards the goal from here.
22nd minute of the second half: In the opponent's half, from the left side, the defensive midfielder Hashimoto went to steal the ball, and the loose ball reached right midfielder Iwaki. Iwaki boldly dribbled into the center and took a daring shot at goal. The shot hit the opposing defender and floated in a looping manner, going over the outstretched hand of the Yokohama goalkeeper and into the net—GOAL!! The courageous attitude in both offense and defense paid off, and the match was leveled!
26th minute of the second half: Right SB Hiroki stole the ball, combined with FW Maeoka in a one-two to break through the right side, and sent in a low cross. MF Muto rushed in front of the goal but just missed connecting.
33rd minute of the second half: The attack came from Tokyo’s left side, delivering a wonderful cross from the corner of the area between the GK and DF. Yokohama FW Takahashi skillfully met the ball, resulting in the third goal conceded…
36th minute of the second half: FW Iwata and MF Nozawa come on, replacing FW Akioka and Maeka. Muto and Hashimoto move up to FW. Iwata plays right MF, Iwaki on the left. The holding midfielders are Eguchi and Nozawa.
43rd minute of the second half: From Nozawa’s early right cross, Eguchi skillfully shoots just inside the far post for a GOAL!!! Immediately after, Nihei replaces Iwaki.
End of the second half: Showing incredible resilience, they scored an equalizer once again just before the end, pushing the match into two 10-minute halves of extra time!
3 minutes into the first half of extra time: Muto, who moved up to FW, took a shot from the left corner of the area, but the GK caught it.
5 minutes into the first half of extra time: Launching a counterattack, Muto advanced with powerful dribbling. He brought the ball into the area, but the Yokohama DF returned quickly, and although he shot while off balance at the end, he couldn't get a clean strike.
7th minute of the first half of extra time: Both teams launched counterattacks, and this time, from a pass aiming behind Tokyo's DF, Yokohama FW Ono broke through. However, Hiroki covered, forcing a corner kick and successfully defended.
10th minute of the first half of extra time: From a Tokyo corner kick situation, they suffered a counterattack and could not stop it. Yokohama MF Matsumoto, who entered near post, headed the right cross, and the ball rolled into the net on the opposite side... conceding the go-ahead goal.
2 minutes into the second half of extra time, DF Ishihara was brought on as left side back, replacing MF Nihei. Muramatsu moved to midfield, and Matsufuji was also pushed up to defensive midfield to launch a counterattack.
9 minutes into the second half of extra time, the opponent's GK punched away a free kick from midfield. Connecting the play, Muramatsu advanced into the left area and sent a ground pass, but the GK caught it before it reached Muto.
Full time
Despite falling behind Yokohama three times, they showed incredible resilience by equalizing each time. However, they conceded the go-ahead goal just before the end of the first half of extra time, and although everyone launched a counterattack afterward, it was unsuccessful. As a result, the U-18 team finished this tournament as runners-up.
