●Match Digest
The opponent for Sec. 3 of the 2010 Tokyo Youth League U-15 Soccer League Second Half (Kanto Challenge League) was Mitsubishi Yowa Chofu. Although the hope for the championship was dashed and the path to the Kanto League Division 2 promotion playoffs was cut off, the team aims to build up further toward the 22nd Prince Takamado Trophy All Japan Youth (U-15) Soccer Championship. The match kicked off at 6:45 p.m.

Although we were slightly pressed early on, we gradually gained control of the pace. At the 5th minute, Yanagisawa took the ball and passed it to Ito, who softly delivered the ball to Yajima running behind the opposing defenders. Yajima then scored with a lob shot over the opposing GK’s head as the GK came out, capitalizing on the first chance to take the lead.
Shortly after, Enokido skillfully dribbled past two opposing defenders on the left side and took a shot, but it missed the target. Then, at the 7th minute, the ball reached Sasaki, who had moved into the post from Kobayashi; Sasaki headed it down to Aoki. Aoki carried the ball at speed and took a shot, but this also missed the target. Furthermore, at the 10th minute, Sasaki received the ball from Aoki in the center, controlled it to face forward, and passed to Ito. Ito dribbled past one opposing defender and unleashed a powerful shot that hit the crossbar and seemed to cross the goal line, but it was ruled no goal.

Conversely, at 12 minutes, a free kick was conceded on the left in front of the goal, and the opponent scored directly to equalize. At 14 minutes, Ishizuka was brought on to replace Yanagisawa. Then, at 16 minutes, Yajima let a vertical pass from Gokatsu pass through, and it reached Ishizuka who ran behind. Ishizuka passed to Tamiya, who surged up the left side. Tamiya aggressively challenged, cut in near the goal line, and crossed, but the ball hit the opposing defender and resulted in a corner kick. Kobayashi rushed in to follow up on the corner kick’s rebound but missed the target. Then at 30 minutes, a flowing sequence of direct passes connected from Aoki to Enokido to Aoki to Yajima and back to Aoki, who carried the ball forward and took a shot, but it did not hit the target.
In the first half, the team gained rhythm through building up from the DF line led by Gokatsu and accurate long feeds to both sides, but the half ended tied at 1-1.

From the start of the second half, Yoshimura, Kamoike, and Wakasa were brought in to further push the attack. Then, at the 37th minute, Yajima won the aerial duel against the GK Okamoto’s long kick, and Kamoike passed to Wakasa. Wakasa broke free with this pass and faced the opposing GK one-on-one but missed the chance due to the GK’s fine save. However, at the 51st minute, after earning a corner kick, Ishizuka carefully observed the opponent’s DF formation and sent a low, fast ball. Kamoike, running free to the spot, delivered an accurate side kick to score, successfully regaining the lead.
Musashi continued to press forward, and at the 45th minute, Ishizuka dropped a cross from Enokido on the left side to the inside, and Kamoike, who ran in, took a shot but missed the target. Immediately after, Tanaka was brought on to replace Yajima. Then, at the 48th minute, Tanaka headed a long ball to Ishizuka, then passed again to Tanaka, who had moved up the outside. Tanaka carried the ball forward once and sent a cross, which drifted, but Enokido picked it up on the left side and passed it on the ground back to Ito. Ito tricked past the opposing defender by going the opposite way and took a shot, which went into the right corner of the goal, scoring the third goal.

After that, Takayama and Ohno were brought on consecutively. In the second half, Musashi pressed quickly to close down the ball and shortened the distance to the opponent, not allowing them to play comfortably. Although they regained possession and connected simple passes to gain rhythm, the final link didn’t click, and they couldn’t create a clear chance. Then, in the 66th minute, Takayama won the aerial duel for a long ball, which reached Kamoike and then Ishizuka on the left side. Ishizuka broke through vertically and sent a cross from deep, and when the opposing goalkeeper fumbled the ball heading toward the goal, Wakasa, who followed up, pushed it in with his body to score the fourth goal.

At the 69th minute, Rinokasa controlled a long feed from GK Ohno and passed to Takayama on the right. Takayama used Yoshimura, who overlapped on the outside, as a decoy and cut inside to unleash a powerful shot, but it was blocked by the opposing GK. And the match ended 4-1 as it was.
