●Match Digest
The opponent in the 2010 Prince Takamado Trophy 22nd All Japan Youth (U-15) Soccer Championship Kanto Tournament Representative Deciding Match was Mitsubishi Yowa SC Sugamo, who had caused a frustrating defeat in the summer Club Youth Kanto Tournament. The match kicked off at 11:00 under cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures.

Just 2 minutes after kickoff, the opponent had a free kick slightly inside the Musashi half from the halfway line. The ball, unexpectedly aimed directly at goal, was caught by GK Ohno with a jump catch despite hitting the goalpost. At 4 minutes, the opponent dribbled deeply down the left side and made a final pass to the center. It was a dangerous moment, but Yoshimura blocked the shot with a sliding body tackle. At 5 minutes, after earning a free kick, Gokatsuide delivered an early cross which Yajima met with a header, but it went off target. Then at 8 minutes, Aoki exchanged passes with Kamoike on the right side, broke through, and sent a cross. Yoshimura tried to take a shot on the cleared ball but couldn’t get a shot off. Furthermore, at 15 minutes, from Kamoike’s side change, the ball went via Yajima to Ishizuka. Ishizuka ran up the left side and sent in a cross, which was caught by the opposing goalkeeper, but good attacking plays began to increase.
At the 18th minute, a side change from Kamoike reached Ishizuka, and further outside, Yanagisawa attracted the opponent with a free run. Ishizuka used this as a decoy and sent a cross to the center, where Aoki jumped in. Although he collided with the opposing GK and couldn’t shoot, Yajima took the rebound and shot. The shot got past the GK but was cleared by a defender who had returned to cover the goal, missing the chance. Conversely, at the 21st minute, the opponent launched an attack. They connected short passes through the center and penetrated the penalty area, but Gokatsu’s tenacious response allowed them to regain possession.
At the 22nd minute, Kitagawa unleashed a powerful long-range shot from a ball dropped off from Kamoike's hold-up play, but the shot floated and missed the target. Then at the 25th minute, Yanagisawa, who overlapped, received a pass from Ishizuka and sent in a cross, which Yajima controlled and attempted to shoot, but was blocked by the opposing defender and couldn't get a proper shot off. Conversely, immediately after, the opponent broke through with a through pass from the left side, but Kobayashi quickly covered and snuffed out the threat. Furthermore, at the 32nd minute, the opponent took a middle-range shot exploiting a brief lapse, but GK Ohno firmly saved and secured the ball. Just before halftime, the opponent pressed from the left side and sent in a grounded cross. It was a dangerous moment, but the timing didn't match with the players inside, and the ball went out to the opposite side, ending the first half at 0-0.

Ito entered the pitch at the start of the second half.
At the 41st minute, Ito received the ball from Yajima's post work, dribbled between two opposing defenders with individual skill, and crossed backward. Kamoike, running in with momentum, aimed a diving header at the goal, which seemed to have gone in but narrowly missed to the left of the post.
Then, at the 43rd minute, Kobayashi intercepted a vertical pass from the opponent's counterattack, advanced forward, passed the ball to Kamoike, and entered the area near the goal. Kamoike used Kobayashi as a dummy and made a through pass to Yajima, who was running behind. Yajima received it perfectly free, and despite hitting the opposing goalkeeper, he managed to twist the shot in with determination, scoring the long-awaited opening goal. Further, at the 53rd minute, Yoshimura dribbled past on the left side and passed to the center. Wakasa stubbornly held off a charge from the opposing defender, and the ball spilled in front of Yajima. Yajima carefully passed it to Ito, who calmly slotted it into the goal, scoring an additional goal and extending the lead to 2–0.

At the 66th minute, Ishizuka received the ball from a side change, cut back to the center, and took a left-footed shot, but it narrowly hit the crossbar. Immediately after, Kitagawa tried to strike directly at the rebound from a corner kick but missed. Then, at the 69th minute, Kamoike received the ball from Yajima’s post play, dribbled past the opposing defender, and took a shot, but the opposing goalkeeper made the save. Conversely, at the 71st minute, the opponent launched a counterattack and got a shot off, but Yanagisawa covered and blocked it. Shortly after, a header from a corner kick was allowed from the center, but GK Ohno saved it right in front of him. Another volley attempt from a cross on the right side went over the goal. Yajima, who had been running hard on both offense and defense until then, cramped his leg when taking a shot, and Enokido came onto the pitch. The team endured a difficult period of the opponent’s counterattack, centering on captain Kitagawa, and managed to hold on until the final whistle sounded, ending the match.

We were able to prove the value of the tears shed in the summer, but now we want to continue making further efforts and give our all to shine on the national tournament stage. Thank you very much for all your support today as well.
