●Match Digest

The 2010 Tokyo Youth League U-15 Soccer League Sec. 5 match was against Furoku. The game started with a kickoff at 4:00 p.m. amid a cold wind.

At 4 minutes into the game, Ishizuka kept possession on the right side following Kitagawa's side change and passed to Yoshimura. Yoshimura then delivered a cross, and Ito headed the ball, but it missed the target.

From this shot, the passes began to circulate at a good tempo, and at the 13th minute, Aoki sprinted past the opposing DF line following Yajima's ball behind the defense and took a shot. The ball went over the opposing goalkeeper's head and was rolling around when Aoki himself pushed it in to score the long-awaited opening goal.

At the 22nd minute on the left side, a wonderful sequence of direct passes connected from Aoki to Ishizuka to Yanagisawa, leading to a cross, but it was cleared by the DF.

After that, by quickly switching play after losing the ball, they denied the opponent attacking chances, creating many opportunities with an attack that effectively combined well-paced short passes and large side switches, keeping the opposing DF guessing.

Then at the 26th minute, a long side change from Ishizuka on the left side to Ito on the right. Ito passed to Yoshimura, who made a well-timed overlap, and sent a slightly backward cross. Ishizuka ran in and brilliantly scored with his right foot, securing the second goal.

At 28 minutes, Aoki ran onto Ishizuka's exquisite through pass and took a direct shot, scoring the third goal.
At 31 minutes, Aoki dodged one opposing defender after receiving the ball from Yajima and shot with his left foot. This goal marked Aoki's hat-trick of the day, securing the fourth goal.
And they went into the halftime break leading 4-0, maintaining the pressure throughout.

At the start of the second half, Tanaka was brought on to replace Ishizuka. Just after the restart in the 36th minute, the newly substituted Tanaka aggressively challenged the opposing defender, dribbled past one opponent, and took a shot, but it narrowly missed the target.

At the 38th minute, although a momentary lapse created a dangerous situation, Tanaka’s excellent covering once again prevented the threat.

Then at the 40th minute, the ball was passed from Kamoike to Yajima and then to the overlapping Yoshimura. Yajima timed his header perfectly to connect with Yoshimura’s exquisite cross, scoring the fifth goal.

Then, Enokido was brought on to replace Yajima, and Misawa came on for Yoshimura. At the 48th minute, Enokido, who had just come on, sent a direct cross between the defensive line and the goalkeeper from a pass by Kamoike, but it just missed Ito, who was making a run.

At the 51st minute, Enokido had the ball on the right side and overlapped to Misawa. Misawa delivered a direct cross on this ball, Aoki was crowded out near the near post, and Ito calmly ran in to score the sixth goal from the rebound.

After that, Tsukada was brought on for Aoki, and Okamoto for Ohno. At the 57th minute, Enokido took a shot, followed by Tanaka at the 59th minute, but neither resulted in a goal.

During stoppage time, Ito scored a brilliant long-range shot from about 30 meters out in the center, securing a 7-0 victory.

Throughout this match, the team consistently demonstrated quick transitions between offense and defense, bold overlapping runs from both fullbacks, and the defenders maintained focus without losing concentration, showing stable defense.
I believe whether we can continue this level of performance and concentration in the next training sessions and matches will truly lead to the growth of the team’s strength. From now on, I want to continue tackling each challenge with full effort.
