Commentary
Sec. 1 of the Kanto League was held under warm sunlight.
The kickoff took place at 2:00 p.m. at Fukagawa Ground against Verdy Junior Youth.
The match kicked off with Tokyo in possession, but from the very start, it turned into a defensive struggle.
At 3 minutes, the left side was broken down, and a shot was taken from the center of their own half, but it went wide.
At 6 minutes, a sharp shot was taken by the opposing MF from mid-range, but GK Oida made a great save.
Then at 7 minutes, a shot was allowed from almost directly in front of the goal, but Oida also deflected it here.
Despite a series of crises, at 9 minutes Kawakami pushed in a loose ball from a long ball in front of the opponent's goal. However, this shot just missed the goal and did not score.
After that, the difficult situation continued with the ball being circulated in our own half throughout.
At the 25th minute, a vertical pass was connected on the right side, and Kawakami made a through pass to the front line. However, the opposing GK blocked it here.
At the 27th minute, a powerful shot was fired by the opponent from the middle range in our own half, resulting in a conceded goal, 0-1.

In the second half, they pressed hard from the front line, but the opponent kept circulating passes through the midfield and continued to attack.
At the 45th minute, the opponent broke through dribbling from the center and took a shot, but Sekine threw his body to block it and prevented a goal.
Afterwards, they tried to change the situation with player substitutions, but conceded the third goal in the 55th minute.
In the 58th minute, Kishi pushed forward from Yamaguchi, who came on as a substitute, but narrowly missed the goal and did not score.
In the 61st minute, Kishi also took the ball from the opponent and attempted a breakthrough but was blocked by the opposing DF. Then, in the 64th minute, the opponent connected passes through the midfield and scored, making it 0-4.
