Muto awarded “Meiji Yasuda J.League Coca-Cola Player of the Month” in March
Yoshinori Muto has been awarded “Meiji Yasuda J.League Coca-Cola Player of the Month,” which recognises the best Meiji Yasuda J1 and J2 League players each month.

Yoshinori Muto saw action in all the three matches held in March as he tallied league leading three goals and made a significant contribution to his team’s undefeated record. The F.C.Tokyo forward scored in three different ways, which proves why he is renowned as a Japanese ace striker. He captivates fans and lives up to their expectations with his high-level skill in top-speed run, prediction for next plays and aggressive efforts for a goal.
He covered a combined total of 36.51 kilometres in the three matches － highest among forwards in the league. The number of sprints was league’s second most 83. With his contribution to defence, the data shows his trademark speed and energy.

It is an honour to be selected for the first Player of the month of the 2015 season. I received this award thanks to all my teammates not just myself. We got off to a good start in this season. We will go for the title and, at the same time, work hard to further boost the J.League.
