ENDO KEITA

Proof of What I Did in Germany
Bring the Title to Peter Tokyo!
MF 22 Hiroshi ENDO

Special content introducing the all-blue-red warriors who will challenge the 2024 season. What are the players thinking and what kind of determination are they approaching the year with as they prepare for the opening? The players' stories, filled with club love, thirst for titles, aspirations for success, and the roles they must fulfill, are──. For Keita Endo, the four seasons in Germany were not as he had hoped. However, everything he experienced there is undoubtedly a source of strength. The man who tasted victory in the J1 League with Yokohama F.Marinos, vows to make a comeback in the blue-red uniform and lead Tokyo to the top.

After a hiatus of three and a half seasons, a dribbler who swears to make a comeback has arrived in Tokyo with strong determination. Keita Endo, who had a tough time in Germany, made the decision to return to Japan in order to prove his worth and strength.

The long-awaited overseas challenge did not end as I had imagined. I spent four seasons at two clubs overseas, but I couldn't fully demonstrate my talent. I spent more time struggling than anything else. I experienced the humiliation of being left out of the team, something I rarely experienced in Japan, and there were times when I felt lost. However, I never forgot to face myself and take on what I could do in that situation, and I am proud of that.

"I couldn't play much in the game, and it was a difficult time, that's for sure. However, even in that situation, I did what I could. Even when I wasn't in the starting lineup for home games, I went to the gym and had a menu made for me, and I ran. I came back to the J-League to prove what I have done in Germany, so I hope people can see that in my performance in the game."

26-year-old Peter CKLAMOVSKI, who is seeking a comeback, has chosen Tokyo, led by coach Peter CKLAMOVSKI, who has experienced winning the J1 League with Yokohama F.Marinos as both a coach and a player, as his new destination and is once again trying to spread his wings strongly.

"Tokyo made an offer with enthusiasm, and of course, Peter's presence was significant. We fought together at Yokohama FM, and I think they made the offer with expectations for me in that sense."

Once again, I understand that it is important to show who I am as a player not through words, but through my play. That's why I deliberately do not mention specific goals or numbers. The only thing I have clearly stated is my desire for the league title, nothing more.

"I am currently playing in Tokyo and only thinking about winning. I will play for that purpose."

Endo Keita, who changed into a blue and red uniform, will start the "second chapter" at the capital club.
