Q, please tell us your honest feelings about joining Tokyo and what goals you have set.
I am very happy to be able to join Tokyo. I want to do my best and contribute my maximum ability to achieve the team's goals. I also want to play in Japan for as long as possible and leave my mark.
Q: How would you like to be called by the fans and supporters?
Since I have been called Jája since I was young, please call me Jája.
Q, how is your current condition?
A, there was a little break after the end of the league matches of the club I belonged to before joining Tokyo. I have been training individually until now, but today (July 30th) was the first time training as a team. My condition is about 70 percent. I want to improve from here.
Q, what did Coach CKLAMOVSKI tell you?
From coach Peter CKLAMOVSKI, he jokingly said to me, "I just arrived in Tokyo too (laughs)." We had a conversation with the coach shortly after my arrival in Japan, including a brief orientation.
Q, please tell us your strong points.
A, up until now, I have been playing on the left wing. I am skilled at shooting from cut-ins, dribbling past defenders, and playing with speed. I want to show the fans and supporters my best performance.
Q: Please tell us again why you chose the Tokyo Club.
The decision to transfer to Tokyo was not so difficult. I had already heard about the Japanese soccer style and culture from Brazilian players who were already playing in Japan. As soon as I received the offer, I decided to transfer to Tokyo.
Q, What kind of things did you hear from Brazilian players who are already playing in Japan?
FOGUINHO, who plays for Vegalta Sendai, has a friendship with Sandro, who used to play for Renofa Yamaguchi FC. I heard that Japan is a good country and that Japanese people are serious and diligent in their work. I thought that I could play in a calm environment in Japan. Although there may be some cultural and habitual differences, I think Japan is a very good environment.
Q, there are also many Brazilian players in Tokyo. Isn't it reassuring for Jája Silva as well?
A, I am very grateful and helped a lot. I received various advice. What especially remains in my heart is the story that if I work hard in training, someone will definitely help me. I want to put my heart into it and do my best to succeed.
