1stHALF - Peter Cklamovski's reign starts with a goal from Diego
Under the new coach, Tokyo enters the Nagoya Grampus territory with high intensity and momentum from the start. They fight tenaciously for the ball, quickly press towards the ball side, and swiftly switch to attack after regaining possession. They also quickly return to their defensive positions after losing the ball.
Both teams have a fast vertical speed, and the game will be open from the beginning. However, Tokyo will continue to persistently move the ball vertically without easily losing possession.
In the 17th minute of the first half, Diego TABA, who had the ball on the left side, dribbled and crossed the ball towards the goal line in the negative direction. Watanabe, who was waiting near the goal, made a powerful direct shot, but the ball went just above the frame.
As expectations for a goal rise, the game changes in the 18th minute of the first half. When Watanabe receives the ball just outside the penalty area, he passes it to Diego TABA inside the penalty area. With an opponent defender on his back, Diego TABA receives the ball and makes a perfect turn before shooting with his left foot into the bottom left corner, giving Tokyo the lead.
Tokyo continued to push forward without losing momentum even after taking the lead, but in the 34th minute of the first half, Nakagawa was substituted due to an accident, and Tsukagawa Koki was sent onto the pitch as a replacement.
In the latter part of the first half, Nagoya launched a counterattack and continued to be pushed back, but when they regained possession, they were able to keep the ball easily. As they moved the ball to a higher position, players on the ball side moved closer, aiming to break through the situation through coordination and cooperation.
2ndHALF - High Press & Duel Lead New Manager's First Victory
As the second half begins, Tokyo once again steps up their gear and pushes Nagoya forward, forward. Their defense on the ball side remains strong, not allowing Nagoya to build their attacks as they please.
The high pressure on the front line took away the precision and speed of build-up from Nagoya, and instead Tokyo took the ball at a high position and created opportunities to launch thick attacks. In the 13th minute of the second half, they continued to take the ball at a high position and earned a corner kick. Matsumaki player put in a ball and Diego TABA player made an exquisite header, but the shot narrowly missed above the goal.
Even in the middle of the second half, Tokyo's intensity in the ball contest remains high. In the 31st minute of the second half, they earned a free kick chance on the left side, and player Matsuki put the ball in front of the goal, but player Henrique unfortunately diverted it to the left of the goal.
After the immediate goal kick, Diego TABA picked up the back pass and scored as he pressed hard from the front against Nagoya's build-up. He managed to get past the opposing goalkeeper and took a shot, but unfortunately it missed to the left of the goal.
After taking control and creating scoring opportunities, there was a period where they were unable to score any additional points. However, in the 35th minute of the second half, the long-awaited goal was finally scored. From a central combination, Matsuki passed the ball deep into the opponent's left side, and Abe broke through to calmly supply a pinpoint cross ball in front of the goal. Diego TABA, who was waiting in front of the goal, headed the ball past the goalkeeper and Tokyo extended their lead.
As the game entered the final stage, the substitute players who were brought on responded by chasing the ball from the front line and fighting without losing intensity in the duels. A high-pressure and thick attack that lasted for 90 minutes, as well as duels in the ball contests. Peter CKLAMOVSKI's debut with Klamovski Tokyo was a success, leaving a strong impact and earning 3 points at home Ajinomoto Stadium.

[Peter CKLAMOVSKI Manager Press Conference Comments]

Q, please give us an overview of today's first match.
A, I am proud of the players and staff for delivering a strong performance. I believe we were able to prepare well thanks to solid support throughout the week. In the process, we firmly established our key principles, which brought stability to our defense and allowed us to move the ball effectively in attack. I think the players demonstrated what we have been working on in training. They truly fought with dedication, hard work, and conviction, and I believe it was a performance worthy of victory.
Q: What did you do to build a relationship with the players during the short preparation period?
A, I believe we were able to show what we have focused on in training. It is important for the team to evolve within that, but it was also crucial to determine what we needed to do to defeat Nagoya. We had to give our all in terms of both the amount of movement and intensity in offense and defense, so we worked on those aspects as well. The players gave everything they had, and I believe the reward for giving their all came back to them. The fans and supporters truly gave us great strength. When the players were tired, they pushed them from behind, and I think that helped us get through it.
Q: Please tell us the aim of today's match.
A, first of all, I think they were able to fully demonstrate what we have been working on in practice. There are still many areas for improvement, and there are points we must continue to work on to get better. We have been doing what we need to do in our daily training. I believe we were able to show our physical intensity and properly execute our style of play. The hard work the players put in deserves this victory. We were able to strongly display our team performance, and I think they did very well. However, I also believe there are still many aspects that need to be improved.
[Player Interview]
<Diego OLIVEIRA player>

Q: You had a great performance with 2 goals. Please reflect on the goal scenes.
A: For the first goal, I received a wedge pass from Ryoma WATANABE, turned around, and swung my left foot. The shot I took flowed into a course that was difficult for the opposing goalkeeper to reach in a good way. Regarding the second goal, Shuto ABE sent a slightly high cross ball in front of the goal. I predicted that it would go over the head of the defender who came in front of me, moved around behind, and I think it was a goal where I was able to skillfully connect with my head.
Q, facing away from the goal, shooting from a turnaround. What kind of image did you have when you swung your left foot?
A: Before turning around, I had a clear image of where the goal was, including the positions of the opponents. After trapping the ball, I focused on the angle at which I would shoot and swung my left foot through.
Q, Diego TABA led the attack as the starting point in the one-top position. Please tell us what you were conscious of throughout the 90 minutes.
A: Today was a match where not only I but the entire team was able to work hard. I believe that everyone running earnestly and fighting both offensively and defensively led to the victory. I think it was a victory that we all seized together.
Q: Today, we were able to seize victory in a good form. Please share your enthusiasm from here on.
A, since we will be playing at home again in the next match, we want to respect our opponents and aim to build even more momentum from here by striving for consecutive home wins.
<Ryoma WATANABE>

Q: please review the game.
A: If we can always play a 90-minute match with this kind of performance, I think we will lose less often. There were more chances to score than the goals we actually made, so if we finish the chances we should and avoid conceding goals, our ranking will naturally improve.
Q, please reflect on the scene of the first goal.
A, at first I tried to make a ground pass, but I couldn’t because an opposing player was in the passing lane. However, since I could see both Teruhito NAKAGAWA and Diego OLIVEIRA, I considered the opponent’s body orientation and made a lofted pass to Diego. During the match, I was always watching Diego’s movements and trying to pass to him. There were also moments where I could have passed if I had looked more carefully beforehand, so I will seriously reflect on that and make sure to improve for next time.
Q: Throughout the game, you had a strong presence both in attack and defense, such as blocking Nagai's shot just before the end of the first half. What were you conscious of during the match?
A, from the middle of the match, due to Nakagawa's injury, my position changed to the side, and from there, I focused on marking the opponent's wing player during defense. I was not particularly conscious of the defensive aspect individually; rather, the plays like that resulted from being aware of the defensive duties the team needed to perform.
Q, please tell us your enthusiasm for the next match against Kashiwa Reysol.
A, I will continue daily training to further increase my intensity, and by playing high-intensity matches like today, I want to firmly deliver victory to our fans and supporters.
Henrique TREVISAN

Q, a goal was scored from Henrique TREVISAN's interception. What were you conscious of throughout the 90 minutes?
A, with the coach having changed, I believe the team is in a transitional phase. After winning the ball, I was conscious of connecting with the forward players. In that context, Diego OLIVEIRA scored a good goal.
Q: What instructions did the coach give regarding defense for the game?
A, Nagoya is a team that relies on solid defense and quick counterattacks, so Coach CKLAMOVSKI told us to switch quickly between offense and defense and to immediately recover the ball as soon as we lose it.
Q, the play shone in all aspects, such as intercepting and participating in attacks from a high position.
A, I believe the important thing is to continue playing well from now on. To do that, I think it is necessary to keep practicing and improve my level, so I want to continue working so that the team can perform well.
<Kota TAWARATSUMIDA>

Q, it was my first start in a long time. Please tell me what you were conscious of throughout the game.
A, first, I focused on entering the match with high defensive intensity, and I believed that if we couldn't fight defensively, there was no point. Since I was given the chance to start in the lineup, I approached the game with a strong mindset. I also wanted to play the full 90 minutes, but my stamina, which is a challenge for me, became an issue. After being substituted, I entrusted everything to the players on the pitch.
Q, I was able to fully utilize my strengths in my play. Please tell me what you particularly focused on in terms of the offensive aspect.
A, for me, I was focused solely on "achieving results" going into today's match. However, I was unable to deliver results again today, which is very frustrating. Since there were many tactical objectives in the match, there are many things I cannot comment on here, but I believe that utilizing my strength in dribbling will be a positive for the team. In particular, I focused on dribbling breakthroughs and moves that directly lead to goals in today's game.
Q, we were able to proceed with the second half of the league in a good form. Please tell us your enthusiasm from here.
AI want to activate the team with plays that utilize dribbling, and I believe that by increasing the number of plays where I personally attack towards the goal, results will come out. In order for the team to move in a positive direction from here, I want to ride on a good flow and express it through my plays. Personally, I will pursue results.
