Q, please tell us about the process of joining.
A, I was given the opportunity to participate in the pre-season camp, and then I had a lot of time to think over the following two months. During that time, my strong desire to take on a challenge in Tokyo led me to decide to join for the 2025 season.
Q, as it will be joining in 2 seasons, there may be some changes from the team's perspective, what kind of information did you receive from the club?
A, my strength lies in being able to play in various positions. Before deciding to join at an early stage, I went through many conflicts, but my desire to challenge myself at a high level is very strong. Regarding how I will be utilized, I will do my best to consistently participate in matches in the position assigned to me.
Q, please tell us the reason why you chose Tokyo among various career paths.
A, I participated in the camp and felt that it resonated well with me. I also thought that Tokyo is the club where it would be easier to balance both soccer and studies by deciding at this timing. Tokyo was the club where my feelings translated into actions and where various aspects of my own intentions aligned.
Q: It is impressive that there were many high-quality players in FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa, where player Anzai was enrolled at that time.
A, yes. I had the impression that there were many players with high individual abilities. Yusuke Aoki, who played alongside me, scored many goals in the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA 35th All Japan U-15 Soccer Championship and also participated in national team activities. Including other players, there was a group of individuals with high abilities.
Q, please tell us again about the characteristics of your play.
A, I don't have any outstandingly exceptional abilities, but my strength lies in being able to play consistently in every aspect of the game and in my fighting spirit, especially in one-on-one situations.
Q, please tell us about the ideal player image.
A, I want to become a player who can lead the team to victory. Through my play, I want to ignite the passion of those watching. I hope to deliver courage and energy.
Q: Please tell us about wearing the same uniform as Kuryu MATSUKI, who you have been playing with since high school.
A, I also watched MATSUKI's performance during my university days. However, I have a strong fresh feeling about being able to play soccer together with the "new Kuryu MATSUKI."
Q: I think player Anzai himself had a frustrating feeling as he couldn't get promoted to FC Tokyo U-18.
A, I carried that frustration with me and went on to high school. I was determined to aim even higher from there. I believe that frustration became the fuel for my growth.
Q, there was also a freshness in seeing him play as a side back during the camp.
A, I also played as a side back during my time at FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa, and I was a starting side back in the Kanto University Soccer League while at Waseda University. I personally see the side back position as one of my options.
Q, do you also have a strong desire to play as a JFA/J.League designated player?
A, yes. I seriously want to break into the match squad, and that is one of the reasons I decided to join at this point. I will actively make my presence known and aim to be involved in matches as soon as possible.
Q, There are also players who have experienced the World Cup, such as Masato MORISHIGE and Yuto NAGATOMO. What would you like to learn from experienced players?
A, It is valuable to be able to play alongside players who have carried the responsibility of representing Japan in battle. I want to thoroughly absorb the advice they share based on their experience and make it my own.
Q, where do you think player Yasuzaki will play?
A, I think my main position will be as a side back. I have also experienced playing as an inside half and a winger, and at Waseda University, I played as a side half as well. I want to keep these past experiences as options.
Q, Do I need to have an image of a multiplayer?
A, I am not bad at receiving the ball in central positions or playing a possession style. I want to receive the ball in an inside position and distribute it effectively.
