INTERVIEW 2022.2.09

Henrique TREVISAN Player Interview

Q: With less than two weeks until the opening, we are in the final stages of preparation. Has the understanding of team tactics progressed?
A: In terms of adapting to a new team after transferring, I was warmly welcomed, so it was very easy to fit in. Regarding the understanding of tactics, I recognize that it is improving day by day.

Q, How do you understand the role that Henrique is expected to play within the team tactics?
A, First of all, to firmly control the defensive line. Then, I want to contribute to the build-up phase as well. Also, throughout the season, I will continue to communicate with my teammates both on and off the pitch to share our thoughts. Lastly, I want to make a solid contribution in defense.

Q: Coming to Japan in the 2020 season and playing in the J-League throughout the season, it seems like there will be an advantage in terms of familiarity in this second season, right?
A: I believe that the experience I gained playing in Japan last season is a significant advantage. For me, what I need to do on the field hasn't changed, so coming to this historic team for my second season, I feel I can make use of the Japanese style and experience I gained during my first season.

Q, since players who originally played in Tokyo are also working on a new style of soccer, it is necessary for the entire team to actively communicate, regardless of new recruits.
A, Since there are Brazilian players on the team every season in Tokyo, the Japanese players also understand a little Portuguese. We try to communicate by mixing a little Japanese, a little Portuguese, and a little English.

Q, Jakub SLOWIK often coaches in Japanese, right?
A, of course I hear it well (laughs). I understand both Japanese and English.

Q, please tell us your enthusiasm towards the opening.
A, I believe we are currently in the process of becoming a bigger team, and I think that is gradually going well. I am very excited about the preseason, and by winning against strong teams, I want to make it a good season.
