INTERVIEW 2022.1.30

Post-Practice Game Interview 1/29 ②

<Kuryu MATSUKI>

Q, please reflect on today's (1/29) practice match.
A, since I joined the camp partway through, I felt from practice that the defensive and offensive positioning was quite difficult, but regarding today's training match, I think I was able to effectively demonstrate smooth transitions between offense and defense while being particular about my positioning.

Q: How do you feel about the criticism that football can be mentally exhausting?
A, I was consciously using my head in advance to quickly get used to the speed of the professional level, so I didn’t really feel that way much.

Q, what challenges do you feel while playing as a professional?
A, this also relates to using your head, but if you play without thinking even a little, you often get caught from behind, so you have to constantly think about your positioning and the positions where you drop back; otherwise, I felt you can't compete for the full 90 minutes.

Q: How did you feel about the speed of J1 after actually playing today?
A: I want to properly adapt to the speed myself and quickly produce results such as goals and assists.

Q, how do you want to spend the rest of the camp?
A, there are two training matches left, and if I don't make an impression there, I won't even make the squad. I want to be more aggressive in showing my true self.
