Q: With the limited time available since the resumption of team activities, where do you focus your training?
A: First, we are preparing for the matches against Avispa Fukuoka and Cerezo Osaka, but for the Fukuoka match, we will be playing with a very limited squad. We must keep in mind that many players who tested positive for COVID-19 have not yet returned. I also see this match as an opportunity to restore the players' physical condition. Of course, our commitment to competing and our focus on establishing and developing our playing style remain unchanged. However, regarding the Fukuoka match, I consider it to be more of a readjustment in preparation for the league matches.
Q: What did you feel when you met the players for the first time in about a week and saw their expressions and movements, as you resumed team activities?
A: Of course, I felt that they were hungry to play, and they were full of enthusiasm to enjoy soccer once again. Furthermore, I sensed a positive attitude towards training.
Q, I think fans and supporters are eagerly awaiting the Tokyo match. Please leave a message.
A: As I have said before, this season will be a difficult one. And there is no doubt that the current challenges have made the season even tougher. However, I believe that by overcoming these difficulties, we will return as an even stronger team. Therefore, I ask you to patiently watch over the team. Please continue to support the team as you always have. For the future of Tokyo, we are all fighting together now. We hope that our fans and supporters will give us their full support as well.
