Q, it was the first practice match against a J1 team to work on a new style of football. How did it go?
A, the whole team still tends to make a lot of easy mistakes. If we make such mistakes in official matches, it will lead to conceding goals, so we have a sense of urgency to correct them in the remaining time, including the last week of the camp.
Q, are you currently in the stage of trial and error?
A, that's right. Mistakes made as a result of taking on challenges and mistakes made by doing nothing are completely different, so we are all checking and challenging together. We are constantly discussing how to solve the issues that arise from these challenges and improve.
Q, how do you feel about your own progress as a player while challenging this new style of soccer?
A, the coach places great importance on maintaining possession of the ball, but at the same time, he wants us to take on challenges when the opportunity arises. I hope to create more situations where I can take those chances. Since the camp has only been going on for two weeks, I want to improve my precision in the remaining week and be in good condition for the season opener.
Q, I also want to improve communication between players.
A, I feel that communication on the pitch is even more necessary than before. I believe that defense the moment we lose the ball is crucial, so I want us to raise our level by calling out to each other.
Q: What do you want to accomplish during the remaining camp?
A, first of all, I want to properly maintain my health and improve my condition during the remainder of the camp.
