2026/27 Season TOKYO GROW WITH Program Activity Report (1)

Club Announcement

Since the 2025 season, FC Tokyo has operated the TOKYO GROW WITH Program (Student Business Staff), which aims to help students who will lead the next generation expand their potential through experience in real-world sports environments.
In this report, we introduce the activities of the TOKYO GROW WITH Program for the 2026/27 season, its second year.

□New Employee Orientation

For the 2026/27 season, four student business staff members joined FC Tokyo as participants in this program.
At the onboarding orientation held before they began work in their respective departments, the students learned how to use various internal tools and reviewed the club overview and the mindset expected of business staff.

□ Home Match Operations Tour

On Jun 6 (Sat), we conducted a home match operations tour during the second match of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Centennial Vision League Playoff Round, held at MUFG Stadium (Japan National Stadium).
First, the student business staff attended an operations meeting with FC Tokyo Sports Volunteers and introduced themselves to the volunteers participating in home match operations. The volunteers gave them a warm welcome, including inviting them to join the group photo.
They then toured the home game venue, including the staff-only areas inside the stadium, and learned about the work carried out by the business staff. This gave each participant an opportunity to envision their future involvement in actual home game operations.
In addition, two student interns from the Chiba Jets, a professional basketball team with whom our students have been interacting since last year, also took part in the home game operations tour, providing an opportunity for students from both clubs to deepen their exchange.

□Comments from Student Business Staff

[Sustainability Promotion Department – Y]
“As I studied sports business at university, I increasingly wanted to put that knowledge into practice, so I applied to become a student business staff member at my local club, FC Tokyo.
Since joining, I have been involved in sustainability-related work through operating the LTO (LEADS TO THE OCEAN) booth held before matches and participating in activities under ‘TOKYO SOCIAL COLLABORATION.’ Being involved in the club’s initiatives from a sustainability perspective has made me once again appreciate the social significance of sports clubs.
Going forward, I will continue to approach my work with a strong sense of responsibility, drawing on what I have learned and experienced so far to contribute, even in a small way, to enhancing the Club's value!

[Fan Engagement Strategy Department - Mr. S]
“What prompted me to apply for this program was my desire to work on the side of the team I normally support. I learned about this opportunity at a time when I did not yet have a clear image of my job search, and I applied because I thought it could be a step that would lead to my future.
Through actually working here, I have once again realized the importance of the roles played by people other than the players and coaches—roles that are not visible when simply watching and supporting matches. Currently, I am involved in a wide range of work, from administrative tasks such as recording sales and researching event case studies to on-site duties that involve interacting directly with customers at events and other occasions.
For the remainder of this program, I will continue to consider what it means for me to be taking part and make every lesson I can learn a source of personal growth. I will then identify what I can do precisely because of who I am and give my all to support the team in any way I can.

[Operations Department - Mr. T]
“Influenced by my parents’ work, I have been interested in working in the sports industry since childhood, and I am studying sports-related subjects at university as well. I decided to participate in this program because I was drawn to the opportunity to gain practical experience in a club environment while still a student.
Since joining the program, I have carried out a wide range of duties in the Operations Department, including matchday operations, preparations the day before, and office-based preparations for matches. To ensure that match operations run smoothly, I make a conscious effort to approach every task carefully and thoroughly.
Going forward, through this program, I will boldly take on every challenge and use those experiences to further my own growth. At the same time, I will never forget the sense of responsibility and gratitude that comes with being able to work as a member of FC Tokyo, and I will do my utmost to provide an even better stadium experience for the fans and supporters who attend our home matches.”

[Public Relations Department - Mr. T]
“I applied to the TOKYO GROW WITH Program because I want to work in sports and be involved with FC Tokyo in the future, and because I wanted to become part of the team that creates excitement at FC Tokyo.
In the Public Relations Department, we mainly handle media inquiries, share information through various channels, and engage with visitors at Kodaira Ground. If you see us, please feel free to say hello!
I take pride in and feel a sense of responsibility in being part of FC Tokyo, and I will continue working hard every day to share the club's appeal with fans and supporters, as well as many others. Let’s create "Tokyo in a Frenzy" together! Thank you for your support!

We also received numerous applications for this program for the 2026/27 season, for which recruitment began this March. We sincerely thank all the students who applied and everyone who expressed interest.
Activity reports will continue to be posted irregularly in the future.
