"I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone from Tokyo Football Club Co., Ltd. for joining us today for the signing of this comprehensive partnership agreement.
Tokyo Football Club Co., Ltd., as the operating company of the professional soccer team FC Tokyo, has provided us with significant cooperation, primarily in the area of supporting the development of children and young people, including by holding soccer classes and environmental education lessons at municipal schools.

Taking this agreement as an opportunity, this fiscal year, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the ward, FC Tokyo will invite 500 pairs, or 1,000 people, to matches it hosts. FC Tokyo will also hold "Disaster Preparedness Soccer" as an initiative to encourage new participants in disaster preparedness drills. In addition, FC Tokyo has decided to distribute its original supplementary physical education teaching material, the "Aoaka Drill," to all first-grade students at ward-run elementary schools. We are deeply grateful for this broad-ranging collaboration, which will help improve services for ward residents and revitalize the local community.

Shinagawa City is implementing a wide range of initiatives under the banner of “the happiness and well-being of its residents,” with the aim of realizing a society centered on well-being. However, we recognize that there are limits to what the government can accomplish alone in addressing local and social issues. We therefore hope to work with businesses as well, leveraging each other’s strengths to collaboratively build a better community. Through this agreement, we are delighted to promote community development together by harnessing the power of sport, and we have high expectations for the further expansion of our partnership in the future.

Finally, I would like to once again express my gratitude to everyone at Tokyo Football Club Co., Ltd., beginning with those who worked so hard to make this agreement possible. This concludes my brief remarks. Thank you very much for being here today.

“On behalf of FC Tokyo, I am delighted that we have been able to conclude a comprehensive partnership agreement with Shinagawa City. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who worked so hard to make this agreement possible.”

FC Tokyo and Shinagawa City have built strong ties with the people of Shinagawa through sports and community events, including the annual Shinagawa City Mayor's Cup, participation in the Spring Canal Festival and the Autumn Waterfront Tourism Festa, and school visits through the Smile Caravan program. In recent years, we have also launched new initiatives such as the Togoshi Ginza Community Disaster-Preparedness Soccer program, and a great many Shinagawa City residents attended our home matches last season.

We are also greatly encouraged to see FC Tokyo flags displayed throughout the city.
With the conclusion of this agreement as an opportunity, we hope to deepen this connection further and, in addition to our sports-centered exchanges to date, work together with the people of Shinagawa Ward in a broader range of areas, including education, disaster preparedness, health, and regional revitalization.

As a first step, for the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 12 match against Mito Hollyhock to be held on October 25, we will invite 500 pairs (1,000 people) of Shinagawa Ward residents to Ajinomoto Stadium. We also plan to distribute the "Ao Aka Drill" to all first-grade elementary school students in the ward.

As a club for the people of Tokyo, FC Tokyo will continue working with Shinagawa City to be loved by its residents and to bring more smiles and energy to their daily lives through the power of sport. We sincerely ask for your continued understanding and cooperation with the initiatives of FC Tokyo and Shinagawa City.
